The Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu and Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has called for unity and reconciliation within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) following the party’s constituency executive election in Yapei-Kusawgu.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, October 31, Dr Jinapor said he had met with aspirants who contested the election to encourage them to put aside their differences and renew their commitment to the collective interests of the party.

He stressed that internal elections should strengthen rather than divide the NDC, insisting that there should be no winners or losers when the ultimate objective is the party’s collective progress.

He congratulated the newly elected Yapei-Kusawgu constituency executives and commended all aspirants for their courage and willingness to serve.

“The elections are over. What matters now is how we come together as a united family to strengthen our party and advance our shared objectives,” he said.

Dr Jinapor reaffirmed his commitment to working with all aspirants, executives and party members to build a stronger, more united and inclusive NDC in the Yapei-Kusawgu constituency.
