The suspect, Auntie Esi, wey be 40 years old, reportedly attack im husband with sharp cutlass on Wednesday. Dis happen after dem don dey argue for long time about money for their charcoal business.

Adom News' Central Regional Correspondent Kofi Adjei report say dis couple, wey everybody know for the community as farmers and charcoal producers, don dey fight for long time. Information wey dem gather show say the wahala start when Auntie Esi accuse Mr Blankson say im no dey honest about the money wey dem make from their recent charcoal. Dem say the wife allege say im husband collect plenty of the money after dem sell the charcoal, and dis cause big argument.

Neighbours wey dey around say the argument turn physical fight, and during the fight, the husband reportedly beat the wife. Many people think say the matter don finish after the first fight, but the thing take bad turn when Mr Blankson dey sleep.

Isaac Panyin Mensah, wey be person for Ekumfi Asaman wey see the whole thing after happen, give one serious account of the incident. "As the man dey sleep yesterday, the woman go to their kitchen, take the husband's sharp cutlass, and start to chop the husband while im dey sleep," Mr Mensah talk.

The victim, wey catch im self sleeping, get plenty deep cuts. im shout for help eventually attract neighbours, wey rush come see am for pool of blood. To try save im life, people rush Mr Blankson go Mankessim Hospital first. But because the wound too serious and im lose too blood, quick quick refer am go Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.

Unfortunately, the intervention come too late. The doctor for Winneba facility pronounce am dead when im reach there. The body of Kweku Blankson don deposit for mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
